At Your Service

IoT Makerspace

We host a space for tinkering with IoT sensors, actuators and micro-controllers. Fabrication of Printed Circuit Board (PCB), 3D printing of model gadgets, casing and enclosures. We assemble and program various robots. Interested? Talk to us: innovation@vilab.udsm.ac.tz

Rapid Prototyping

You have an idea for a life changing innovative IoT product or service. You would like to pitch to potential investors but lack a minimimum viable product (MVP) to demonstrate the value in your idea. We have the best team in quick prototyping. We will deliver a clean proof of concept with sustantial amount of data supporting its feasibility and sustainability. Electronics Workshop

Our undergraduate and postgraduate students work on a part time basis at Vi Lab to make extra TZS to support their studies. They do preventive and corrective maintanance of ICT gadgets. They repair all sorts of electronic gadgets and some electrical appliances. You have troble with your smartphone? Is your laptop/desktop hanging? Just email us: techies@vilab.udsm.ac.tz. We will fix it.

Capacity Building

We train, mentor and coach. We impart knowledge and skills in IoT, Data Analytics, Electronic Circuits and Systems Design, PCB Fabrication and 3D Printing. We train sofware development: Mobile Apps Development, Web Apps Development and Desktop Applications. You have an idea and wanna build a prototype? Come to us. Consultancy

The IoT and Big Data are becoming an increasingly important priority for all organizations and decision makers that wish to innovate and stand out from the crowd. At Vi Lab we offer three consultancy services namely, strategic, business, and management consulting whereby we help you develop and execute the strategic IoT and Big Data business, technology, and operations plans you need to compete, and grow.
